Day 01 - Airport > Dambulla

Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, a friendly representative from Kevon Tours & Travels will be there to warmly greet you. You’ll then embark on a seamless and comfortable journey to the beautiful coastal town of Dambulla, ensuring your adventure begins with ease and relaxation.

Visit Dambulla Cave Temple

  • The Dambulla Cave Temple, one of the most impressive and well preserved cave temples in Asia, is located in central Sri Lanka and has been in use for over 22 centuries, exuding benevolence and spirituality.
  • The famous Sigiriya Fortress, adorned with beautiful frescoes, rises like a gigantic cylinder about twelve miles northeast of Dambulla.
  • Due to their historical, archaeological, and artistic significance, both sites were declared World Heritage Sites in 1991.

Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock

  • Visit the ancient stone fortress of Sigiriya, often called the eighth wonder of the world, showcasing incredible stone techniques, wall art, and the remarkable talent of Sri Lankan aborigines.
  • This world historical monument, located in the Matale District, was created by King Kashyapa to hide from his brother’s attacks.
  • After King Kashyapa’s death, Sigiriya served as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century.

Day 02 - Dambulla > Kandy

Visit Temple of the Tooth Kandy

  • The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a globally revered place of worship, housing the left canine tooth of Gautama Buddha.
  • Venerated by thousands of devotees and tourists daily, the temple was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.

Traditional Dancing Culture show

  • Traditional Kandyan dances feature captivating performances such as the cobra dance, mask dance, and Ginisila, demonstrating mastery over fire.

Day 03 - Kandy > Nuwara Eliya

Visit Lover’s Leap Waterfall

  • The waterfall is steeped in legend, telling the poignant tale of a couple who, denied approval for their union, chose to leap from its heights.
  • Their sacrifice, driven by an unyielding desire to be together in the afterlife, gave the waterfall its evocative name, Lover’s Leap.

Visit Gregory Lake

  • Gregory Lake, situated in the heart of Nuwara Eliya, was constructed by British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. Originally a bog, the lake underwent significant renovations.
  • In 1881, Government Agent C. J. R. Le Mesurier stocked the lake with fish, contributing to its rich fauna.
  • By 1913, the lake’s water was channeled through a tunnel to power a hydroelectric station, a function it still serves today.

Day 06 - Ella > Unawatuna

Day 06 - Unawatuna > Galle

Visit Galle Fort
