Day 01 - Airport > Sigiriya

Ayubowan and welcome to the enchanting island of Sri Lanka! Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, a friendly representative from Kevon Tours & Travels will be there to warmly greet you. You’ll then embark on a seamless and comfortable journey to the beautiful coastal town of Sigiriya, ensuring your adventure begins with ease and relaxation.

Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock

  • Visit the ancient stone fortress of Sigiriya, often called the eighth wonder of the world, showcasing incredible stone techniques, wall art, and the remarkable talent of Sri Lankan aborigines.
  • This world historical monument, located in the Matale District, was created by King Kashyapa to hide from his brother’s attacks.
  • After King Kashyapa’s death, Sigiriya served as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century.

Day 02 - Sigiriya

Visit Pidurangala rock

  • Pidurangala is both geographically and historically connected to the palace city of Sigiriya, part of the area known as “Sigiri Bim.”
  • The region includes settlements, monasteries, tanks, and quarries that are integrated into the sophisticated capital established in the fifth century.
  • Pidurangala served as the main Buddhist monastery near the royal residence in Sigiriya, with Kassapa I reputedly visiting the reclining Buddha there twice daily.
  • Some believe Kassapa I bowed to the Buddha of Pidurangala from the lion’s paws at the base of his palace rock in Sigiriya. End your day with an overnight stay at Dambulla Hotel.

Day 03 - Sigiriya > Kandy

Visit Ambuluwawa Tower

  • The 48-meter tall, cone-shaped tower houses the Stupa (Pagoda) of the Buddhist Temple.
  • As you climb up, several viewing platforms offer stunning views, though the staircase gets narrower as you ascend.
  • The spiral staircase can be challenging to climb, especially for those uncomfortable with heights.

Day 04 - Kandy > Nuwara Eliya

Visit Ramboda waterfall

Day 05 - Nuwara Eliya > Ella

Visit Little Adam’s Peak

  • Little Adam’s Peak, named for its resemblance to the iconic Adam’s Peak/Sri Pada, is a must-visit attraction in Ella.
  • The hike to the top is fairly easy, making it a leisurely two-hour walk to reach the 1141m high peak.
  • The trail offers stunning views and is suitable for most fitness levels, making it a popular choice for visitors.

Day 06 - Ella

Visit to do the Flying Ravana Mega Zip Line

  • Experience the breathtaking beauty of Sri Lanka’s tea estates, forests, and villages on the Nanu Oya to Ella train ride, renowned as one of the most scenic train journeys in the world.
  • Departing from Colombo Fort Railway Station, the train offers options for 1st class AC compartments or 2nd class non-AC reserved seats, winding through lush green landscapes, enchanting tunnels, and farming fields.
  • The journey concludes in Ella, a charming town celebrated for its stunning views and outdoor activities, making this train ride an unforgettable adventure for any traveler.

Day 08 - Ella > Udawalawe

Visit Udawalawe National Park

  • Udawalawe National Park is renowned for its abundant elephant population, with herds of up to 30 and a total of approximately 600 elephants in the park.
  • Visitors are almost guaranteed sightings of these majestic creatures, making a visit here an unforgettable experience.
  • While elephants steal the spotlight, the park also boasts sightings of leopards, crocodiles, water buffalo, deer, and various bird species. However, it’s the elephants that leave a lasting impression, as witnessing them in their natural habitat—roaming the plains, dusting themselves, tending to their young, and simply being wild—is a core memory of Sri Lanka that visitors cherish forever.

Day 09 - Udawalawe > Dickwella

Day 09 - Dickwella > Kitulgala

Visit Udawalawe National Park

  • Embark on an exhilarating White Water Rafting adventure on the scenic Kelani River, featuring 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids.
  • Suitable for adventurers above the age of 10, this activity provides modern rafts, safety gear, and a thorough safety briefing from our experienced instructors.

Day 09 - Kitulgala > Dipature

Departure

  • After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to check out and bid farewell.
  • As all good things must come to an end, proceed to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
  • Reflect on the wonderful memories made during your time in Sri Lanka as you head to the airport for your journey home.
