Wander through the narrow cobbled streets lined with colonial-era buildings, charming cafes, boutiques, and art galleries. Visit landmarks such as the Galle Lighthouse, the Dutch Reformed Church, and the old ramparts overlooking the Indian Ocean. Day 20 - Galle > Bentota

After breakfast, depart from Galle and begin your journey to Bentota. The drive covers around 70 km and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

On the way, stop at the Mahamodara Sea Turtle Hatchery. This conservation center is dedicated to protecting endangered sea turtles by rescuing injured turtles and safeguarding their eggs. You can learn about different turtle species, observe baby turtles in tanks, and depending on the season, witness hatchlings being released into the ocean.

After the visit, continue the journey to Bentota. Upon arrival, relax by the beach or enjoy water sports and other coastal activities.
